Summer Tree

In the for­est close to the char­ter­house, there is an old char­burn­er. I used a piece of char­coal I found there to make a frot­tage of the bark of a tree.

Along the path that leads from the park­ing lot to the char­ter­house area, there is an au­dioin­stal­la­tion by Christi­na Hem­mauer and Ro­man Keller,  ti­tled "Sum­mer Tree Dream" (2008), from the col­lec­tion of the Art Mu­se­um Thur­gau: a fir tree that starts to sing "I'm dream­ing of a white Christ­mas" when­ev­er some­one pass­es by.
