Felt pen on mov­able wall

On the oc­ca­sion of the Fes­ti­val of Quilts 2016 in Birm­ing­ham, I was in­vit­ed to show in a so­lo ex­hi­bi­tion my se­ries of works "Cir­con­vo­lu­tions".  I did not want to hang works on the out­side of the gallery, the ex­hi­bi­tion man­age­ment did not want "naked" walls: I pro­posed to cre­ate a large fres­co, in the style of the ex­hib­it­ed works and am still pleased to­day that this some­what un­con­ven­tion­al idea was ap­proved. This was my first non-tex­tile mur­al.
