Inspired by Fabric

In this se­ries of works, the source of in­spi­ra­tion is the fab­ric it­self. Most­ly fab­rics I died and print­ed my­self, in some pieces al­so paint­ed can­vas.

The de­sign ap­proach is some­what dif­fer­ent: I do not start with a spe­cif­ic theme or idea that is de­vel­oped and trans­lat­ed in­to ima­gery, but rather with the as­so­ci­a­tions gen­er­at­ed by the fab­ric I in­tend to use. The de­sign is then de­vel­oped as a com­bi­na­tion of an in­tu­itive, spon­ta­neous ap­proach and planned, de­lib­er­ate de­ci­sions.
