Twen­ty spools bought from an odd lot; on­ly these col­ors are to be used. First, with one col­or, de­lim­i­tate an area, then fill it out with cir­cum­vo­lu­tions un­til the bob­bin is emp­ty. It does­n't al­ways work: some­times the bob­bin is emp­ty when the area is not yet filled; that's when the rules need to be bent and the sewing con­tin­ues...
