Red on green: two com­ple­men­tary col­ors. Twelve dif­fer­ent kinds of reds. As usu­al, chang­ing the col­or when the bob­bin is emp­ty. In the end, an en­tire spool of 200 me­ters of each red was used, thus a to­tal of 2.4 km (1.5 mile) of red thread. The sub­con­scious seems to as­so­ciate red and green to plants; nev­er be­fore drawn so many flo­ral and or­gan­ic de­signs.
