Fragments 42021, 2 pieces, each 130 x 65 cm

When print­ing the pho­tos for a Dai­ly Walk­ing piece, there re­mains some emp­ty space on the sheet. The ex­pen­sive ma­te­r­i­al should not be wast­ed: there is enough room for two ad­di­tion­al rec­tan­gles for which I use ex­tracts from the pho­tos with col­ors or struc­tures.

Here, each rec­tan­gle was again cut in­to two squares, cre­at­ing 200 pairs of squares. The first squares of each pair were joined to form a clear­ly struc­tured / de­signed half piece, the sec­ond squares of each pair were as­sem­bled at ran­dom in­to an­oth­er half piece.

The two half pieces can be hung apart or com­bined in­to one piece, and be as­sem­bled in many dif­fer­ent ways.
