Ini­tial­ly to "walk about" was an ini­ti­a­tion rite for young Aus­tralian abo­rig­ines lead­ing them on ex­tend­ed walks in the desert fol­low­ing the trail of their his­to­ry and an­ces­tors. Nowa­days, abo­rig­ines still go "walk about" every now and then as an oc­ca­sion­al in­ter­rup­tion of their every­day work.
The col­or and shapes on the fab­ric sparked as­so­ci­a­tions to this tra­di­tion. It is a fas­ci­nat­ing con­cept to have the in­ner free­dom to pack your gear and go on a search of your­self when­ev­er you feel like it.
