CITY PEO­PLELone­ly hearts ads in the news­pa­per "Zürich Ex­press" led to this piece. They are of­ten amus­ing but, be­ing a sym­bol of our time, they al­so prompt the ques­tion: who are these peo­ple, who cross each oth­er's way in such a hur­ry that they have nei­ther the time nor the courage to ad­dress oth­er peo­ple di­rect­ly and in­stead re­sort to the un­cer­tain means of a lone­ly hearts ad, hop­ing to find the per­son they are look­ing for.
