Another variation of No Simple Swimming. This time, the words are arranged in a manner that I like to call "poetic". With the found words, I created absurd, surrealistic, poetic, funny sentences and rendered these in cross-stitch embroidery. The fact that the small pieces sometimes come across a bit kitschy, is quite deliberate: they are intended to allude to the embroidered sayings such as "Home Sweet Home" and others more, which once adorned the walls of many a good parlor.
The plan is to create a total of 20 sayings, which will ultimately all be mounted and framed, again with the possibility to put the entire art work together quite individually and to change the arrangement again and again.
