Bridget I2003, 100 x 100 cm

The first of a se­ries of four pieces in­spired by the work of Brid­get Ri­ley. It is a play with col­ors and their in­ter­ac­tion: how small el­e­ments of the most var­i­ous col­ors can form a con­tin­u­ous line, how the same col­or looks to­tal­ly dif­fer­ent when it is placed next to a light or a dark grey, how the col­ors start to dance, when they move from light to dark val­ues on a same back­ground.

An ex­am­ple of ap­plied col­or the­o­ry that be­comes an in­tu­itive and sen­su­ous ex­pe­ri­ence.
